Biography
Kevin Healy joined the faculty of the University of California - Berkeley, in 2002, and is Associate Professor in the Departments of Bioengineering and Materials Science & Engineering. Dr. Healy received his Ph.D. in 1990, from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Healy's research interests are Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering.
Dr. Healy's Biomaterials Group at U.C. Berkeley is currently investigating the design and synthesis of biomimetic materials that actively direct the behavior of mammalian cells to facilitate regeneration of tissue and organs.
